Work Offline option should be available in the Firefox Menu. This will give convenience to users that constantly have internet connection problems.

Since current Firefox Work Offline behavior is enabled when Internet Connection is down(correct me if I am wrong). Adding this option there will allow users to disable the option when they get their internet connection back and running.

WONTFIX
Work Offline will be removed.

Do you have evidence of cases where this happened? A broken Internet Connection caused Offline mode, but when the Internet Connection was working again, Firefox did not switch back to Online mode?
No and it is annoying.
No what? No evidence or "not switching back"?
If the latter, please explain *precisely* what happens, including
- the type of your Internet Connection,
- how it is set up (how you installed it, list of the relevant entries in Windows System settings | Networking eintry, and wherever else it is),
- why the connection broke, and what the state of Windows Networking was when it broke,
- how you enabled the connection again, and what the state of Windows Networking was then.
Note: I was asking the reporter.
The main problem with the current Work Offline behavoiur is that you can't access local webservers/proxies etc. when the internet is down, as Firefox doesn't even try to reach them when it is in offline mode. For example the Visual Studio help sets up a local webserver and you can't access it when Firefox is in offline mode.

I guess instead of adding "Work Offline" to the Firefox menu, a better solution would be to improve the default behavior by fixing bug 565564 (and the dependency, bug 87717).
I did on one occasion turn off "Work Offline" after the internet connection is working again. Although at that time it was Firefox 3.5 that I was using. I am not sure if this bug can be reproduce in my current nightly build.

Situation (few years ago)
I was using Firefox. Internet Connection suddenly disconnected. I reconnected the internet connection. I went back to Firefox. Firefox still cannot connect. I went to File ---> Work Offline and found that it has a tick on it. I turn it off and Firefox went back to normal.

Peter, I know This bug is most likely to be mark as WONTFIX. But I thought of filing it just in case some form of "Work Offline" will be included in the Firefox Menu.
Issues related to this being removed need to be addressed, but solving the problems by adding the menu control back isn't ideal. Setting to wontfix for now, if we absolutely have to, we will un-wontfix this bug and place it in the developer menu.

Alex, please see bug 565564 comment 1 and 2.
I don't see how you *can* fix this with automatics.
