In modern there's no sort direction arrow. Classic has it. Seen in history, mail.

Changing summary to the right one. After theme is changed the is no sorting triangle. Modern, classic. 2000102504-mtrunk
Summary: modern: need a sort direction arrow → after switching theme the sort direction arrow dissapears
Sending to skinability. This sounds like a skin switching bug. Maybe a problem with sorting or image cache?

Weird...I see this too.
Summary: after switching theme the sort direction arrow dissapears → Tree column sort direction arrow disappears after switching themes
I also don't see the sort arrows if I use profile manager, regardless of which theme I'm using.

Confirmed still to be a problem. Tested with Phoenix 0.5. Open Bookmarks Manager, click on a header to activate sorting, switch themes, and voila sort indicator is gone (for ever, or at least until a restart).
I believe this is a dynamic theme switching bug. Dymamic swotching is dead at the moment, so -> WFM?
(In reply to comment #11) > I believe this is a dynamic theme switching bug. Dymamic swotching is dead at > the moment, so -> WFM? no, not WFM - the issue still exists. needs to be kept open, made dependent on or duped to an open bug - and I'm not finding such an appropriate theme bug see also recent comments in Bug 326323
In fact, in FF 1.5.01, with 'extensions.dss.enabled' set to true, it still exists. extensions.dss.enabled is by default disabled, mostly because the dynamic theme switching is not very trustworthy, but this bug is one of the few remaining issues...
