Text rendering is wrong when scrolling the search results, like if the AA was done with a wrong background color.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type "test" in the search box and click search button.
2. Scroll the results dragging the srollbar or with keyboard arrows.

Cleartype is enabled.

Bug does not happen with Firefox 3.6.7.

Same kind of bug with https://brewmobileplatform.qualcomm.com/devnet/prod/resources/devEx/library/references/c/bmp_sdk_api_ref/HTML/APIReference.htm
Click on "index" and scroll the left frame.
The looks having a yellow border while scrolling.
I confirmed that text is ugly while scrolling.

This looks like the Windows-7-specific version of bug 579924.

attachment 458449 [details]? (no scrolling required.) (On Linux, I see a discolored stripe on the left edge of characters)

Yes,
In my case right-edige of characters.

For me both left and right edges. The exact effect probably depends on the cleartype tuning values(In reply to comment #5)

For me both left and right edges (all pixels which are not fully opaque or fully transparent look green). The exact effect probably depends on the cleartype tuning values.
All right -- I'm leaving this separate from bug 579924 for now, in case there are platform-specific solutions.
