I use Jesse's "linked images" all the time on Reddit, but it seems that Places never updates history with the images loaded. This is somewhat annoying, because the bookmarklet doesn't detect all image links, and so after using it there's no way to know which links on the page were actually opened. 1) Put the "Linked Images" bookmarklet on your bookmarks toolbar (https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/pagelinks.html) 2) Visit http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/ 3) Click bookmarklet 4) Reload http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/, note that all links are still blue.

I think it would be too much of a perf hit, and maybe even confusing, to treat image urls as "visited" when you load a page containing the image.
