Open Firefox 4.0 beta 2 2. Open a few tabs 3. Make them into App tabs 4. Close Firefox* 5. Open Firefox 3.6 6. Close Firefox 3.6* 7. Open Firefox beta 2 8. You will most of the app tabs you set up is gone. Actual Results: App tab became Normal Tabs Expected Results: App tabs remain App tabs.

I don't think this is fixable. This would require Firefox 3.6 to know about app tabs and it does not.

If this is not fixable, i believe it will be useful if user know about this. Since they need to know doing what can break their browser.
Session data written by Firefox 3.6 won't identify app tabs, as Firefox 3.6 doesn't know anything about these.
