STR: 1. Add some search engine 2. Go to Manage Search Engine 3. You will find that even though it is no longer the default, you cannot restore default.

This bug was reported using a pre-release version of Firefox 4. Now that Firefox 4.0.1 final has been released, can you please update and retest your bug? A fresh profile would be a good starting place to test, http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles. If you continue to see the issue, can you please update this bug with your results? Yes... it still exist. in fact the problem remain in the Firefox 7 nightly. I just used a new profile and tested in Firefox 7 nightly "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:7.0a1) Gecko/20110530 Firefox/7.0a1". STR: 1. By default, the search engine in Firefox include Goggle, Bing, Yahoo!, wikipedia, amazon.org and ebay. (correct me if I am wrong). 2. Try to remove any search engine or add new search engine. 3. Go to Manage Search Engine 4. You will find that even though it is no longer the default, you cannot restore default. Problem still exist in Firefox 7a1

Restore Default Engines is only about adding back engines that have been hidden. This is working properly. If you hide engines, the button becomes enabled and brings back those engines.
