you will find the text for the iPhone App Store description for Firefox Home.  Please translate this file and attach it to this bug as a text file.  You can attach that file as a plain text document.

The description will eventually be uploaded to a site like this:

You can see from the file that it references some U.S. based articles that gave positive reviews of Firefox Home.  Feel free to quote a local news source, if you saw a positive article.  Before you do that, please ping us with the quote in this bug so we can confirm it with you.  If you don't have any local news articles to quote, either translate the ones in this article or you can ask us to research for you.  We may be able to reach out to a PR agency to help.

Because it is Apple, we do not have a staging server where we can test this.  And, we cannot easily provide any localized screen shots.

I've translated the quotes, we couldn't find any relevant ones on Polish sites.

Below, I'll discuss some of the (mostly minor) issues found. In Polish (I hope Seth won't mind ;-))

* "dzięki któremu nie będziesz musiał wpisywać"

Może chcesz to zmienić na neutralne płciowo? :)

* "tuziny" => "dziesiątki"

Tuziny brzmią sztucznie.

* "Upewnij się, że masz zainstalowaną wersję 1.0.1. programu Firefox Home na swoim iPhonie"

To są wskazówki udanej instalacji, więc ja dopiero to instaluję... 

* "Ciągle w biegu? - Miej ciągły dostęp do listy kart otwartych na Twoim komputerze"

Ciągle/ciągły... "Miej zawsze dostęp"? I "miej" z małej, po myślniku

* "po jednym tapnięciu"

"Tapnięcie" trzeba IMHO zmienić na coś bardziej polskiego. :)

Nie da się bezpłciowo. Dlatego pierwsze zdanie jest w rodzaju żeńskim, a drugie w męskim.

Hmm... "Upewnij się, że instalujesz wersję 1.0.1…"? W oryginale jest "you're running"

Dałbym czas teraźniejszy. Właśnie tak.

The Marketing team updated the copy of the App Store Description to reflect what is new in this release.  You can see the differences here:

Please make the necessary translation updates to your file, reattach to this bug, and close when it is fixed.  

We are submitting the app for review tomorrow, August 24, 2010.  Last time, for a minor update to Firefox Home, it took Apple ~7 days to approve and release the app after we submitted.  We would like to have this copy translated as soon as possible so we have it ready for the forthcoming release.  If you're looking for a guess on timing, I would say it is 5 minutes of effort and we'd love to have it now.
