Build Id: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; U; Linux armv71; en-US; rv:2.0b2pre) Gecko/20100804 Namoroka/4.0b3pre Fennec/2.0a1pre Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a zoom using multitouch 2. Move your fingers to the edge of the screen Actual Results: The zoom level is reset to default Expected Results: I'd expect the page to be zoomed
I could not reproduce this using today's nightly build on a Nexus One.
What website are you performing a zoom on, Matt? I've been using reddit predominantly.
I've tried a few sites now, including Reddit. I think I can reproduce this now. It looks like the view of the page during the zoom animation is at a different zoom level than before or after the animation. On http://limpet.net/mbrubeck/ the page appears smaller during animated zoom; http://reddit.com/ appears larger during animated zoom. (Both in portrait mode - this seems to differ in landscape.) This happens during multitouch zooming, and also during volume button (Maemo) or scroll wheel (desktop) zoom. For example, if I load http://reddit.com in portrait mode the page is zoomed all the way out. When I touch two fingers to the screen, it is suddenly zoomed in. When I lift both fingers, the screen jumps back to the original zoom level.
