Tested with Gecko/20001027 on the Mac with an IMAP account:
- Open the mail window
- Close the message pane
- Double-click on a message to open it in a separate window
==> The Message window doesn't have a Next button in the toolbar like in Nav4.
There is no other way you can move to the next message.
I think it is an important problem because it forces people to use the product
in a 1-window/3-pane mode. Lots of users are still addicted to the 2 or
3-windows mode of Eudora. Besides, without a Next button, the Message window is
rather useless.
Navigation was not implemented in the standalone message window for 6.0, so the
menu/toolbar items were removed. ref bug 37308
