User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b2) Gecko/20100720 Firefox/4.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b2) Gecko/20100720 Firefox/4.0b2 I installed 4 beta 2 while I had firefox 3.6.8 on my windows 7. When I opened firefox 4 I could't see the Close or Minimize buttons in the top right corner of the window, I tried to give feedback and it said I need to have latest version so I followed that link and downloaded the same firefox 4. By that time I had both 3.6.8 and 4 installed but when I clicked each icons, both opened only firefox 4. When i view in control panel it showed both versions are installed. So i uninstalled both versions and then installed the downloaded firefox 4 beta. And then the Close and Minimize control box was visible: so the reason was installing version 4 over version 3.6.8 i assume. Then again I tried to give feed back by clicking feedback button on top right corner, same problem; it says I need to have the latest version.. but I'm using the latest version. Reproducible: Always No Close button and minimize control box - Either firefox 4 should upgrade earlier version properly during installation or should ask user to uninstall previous versions OR else the version 4 must work properly even with previous versions. The feedback button- feedback is important and people who like firefox love to give feedback.. so it should work properly than asking to install latest version for users who already have the latest version.
sorry not beta 2.. just Firefox 4 Beta..
Summary: clicking Feedback button on firefox beta2 says I need to have Firefox Latest version beta 2 → clicking Feedback button on firefox beta says I need to have Firefox Latest version beta
