User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 GTB7.1 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.ob2) Gecko/20100720 Firefox/4.0b2 FF simply stopped displaying any of its windows. When I start FF in normal mode, it doesn't display its windows/tabs. After clicking on the Window menu item it will display all its "open" windows, but will not open/display any of them when I select them. It will only display its windows when I start FF in Safe Mode. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start FF. 2. 3.
(In reply to comment #0) > It will only display its windows when I start FF in Safe Mode. That sounds to be 100% an add-on compatibility issue. Please deactivate your add-ons in safe mode and re-enable them until the issue reappears.

I have disabled all add-ons at start of Safe Mode, and then restarted in normal mode with exactly the same response.
I have done so, and the new profile works fine. Also, now that I have created and run with a new profile, if I go back to the old default profile, it works fine too.
Profiles don't influence each other. So this behavior is suspicious. Anyway, looks like it has been solved for you. Lets call it incomplete as long as we do not have more information.
