Bug appears any time Firefox loses focus while maximized. Focus must be lost by a simple application switch, behavior is normal if Firefox is minimized. If focus is given back to Firefox by clicking on a tab through the Aero interface, Firefox returns the window to normal size rather than leaving the window maximized. Whether or not the tabs are displayed as a list or as thumbnails seems to have no effect on the bug.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox maximized with at least 2 tabs.
2. Switch to another open application.
3. Switch back to firefox by clicking on a tab thumbnail.
Actual Results:
Firefox regains focus and un-maximizes.
Expected Results:
Firefox regains focus, staying maximized.
Same problem here! (Firefox 3.6.9 - Windows 7)
but step 2 for me is "Minimize Firefox window", losing focus is not enough
another interesting behaviour to reproduce:
1. Open Firefox maximized with at least 2 tabs.
2. Minimize Firefox window
3. Press Shift and right click firefox tab thumbnail, select maximize (or restore)
4. no bug this way!
