The current mime decoder can't recognize encoded words in the form: =?utf-7*ja?q?example_here?= that is, the "*ja" is parsed as part of the charset. RFC 2184 is on the stds track, and this change is trivial and backwards compatible with all valid mime encoders.

sorry Adrian but your patch is now obsolete and when I looked at the code to rewrite it, I discovered that jgmyers has already fixed this issue last February. Thanks anyway for your contribution.
