User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b5pre) Gecko/20100819 Minefield/4.0b5pre Firefox/3.6.9 Build Identifier: Remove the "remove" button option from the addon manager plugins detail pane Reproducible: Always This doesn't show up normally, but Windows Live Essentials installs Bing Bar. This shows up as a toolbar which is not functional and it shows up in Plugins (but maybe its suppose to be in Extensions) If you click on Bing Bar to open the detail pane, a remove button exits, but its not functional.

This doesn't appear for me. What extensions do you have installed?

I see it only after downloading MS's Windows Live Essentials Beta and it installs the Bing Bar addon. I don't see it with any other plugin. I grabbed it here which is part of the 2011 beta installer: http://explore.live.com/windows-live-essentials-beta Here is my current list of extensions: Add-on Compatibility Reporter 0.5.1 Bugzilla Tweaks 1.2 Toggle Private Browsing 1.8 Learn Spanish 0.1 Nightly Tester Tools for Firefox 4.0 Betas Default Manager 2.2 Search Helper Extension 1.0 RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin 1.1.4 Yahoo! Mail Watcher 1.10 Show Go! 1.0.3 Hmm, NTT doesn't put my extensions listed in the textbox :) Part of my guess is MS built a bad extension.

Do you still see the problem if you disable the add-on compatibility reporter?

Disabling ACR changed the buttons showing and it doesn't show now. If ACR is enabled the remove button is there.

(In reply to comment #8) > Interesting, I also see the remove item on other plugins now too. With ACR enabled? Can you please update ACR to 0.6?

Looks like ACR 0.6 does indeed fix this, so resolving for now.
