With the landing of bug 583386 the the i6 mockup shows that the Bookmarks Toolbar is in the Bookmarks path. It is not in the current build as was presented in the mockups. Also IMO the 'Unsorted Bookmarks' should be placed somewhere near the top of the Bookmarks menu list, not at the bottom as it is now because those with long lists of bookmarks will have to scroll to the bottom to get there. It should be placed under the Bookmarks Toolbar as seen when using the Bookmarks button on the NavBar.

Not to mention it has to at least match the new bookmarks widget.

You can turn the bookmarks toolbar on from the options menu (along with all of the other UI options). We are however going to keep the bookmarks toolbar pref on the bookmarks menu accessible from the navigation toolbar, as a hack for people who are immediately frustrated that we turned it off.
That's not the point. If a user does not want to take up screen space with the bookmarks toolbar then it should be accessable from the Menu-button and match the top entry items as it does on the Bookmarks Widget on the NavBar. Currently the Menu button does not match the i6 mockups. I'm looking at this one, where it shows: 1. Organizer 2. Bookmarks Toolbar 3. Bookmarks Sidebar 4. should be Unsorted bookmarks IMO . I'm at work and can't look at the moment, but I believe the Bookmark Widget on the Navbar has that order as I listed above. Sorry, if I'm not following but why should end-users have to remember that: Oops, I need to use the Bookmarks Widget to access my Bookmarks Toolbar if they become accustomed to doing all their navigation from the new Menu button ? I understand there is a push to remove redundancy, but I think in this case it(Bookmarks Menu) needs to stay mirrored no matter where its accessed from.
Sorry, read comment #0 too fast, you mean the contents when it is not displayed? Yeah, we need to fix that.
Further thought, what about the minimalist folks that decide to drag the Bookmarks Widget off the Navbar and just not use it or desire to display the bookmarks toolbar ? The bookmarks should still be available from the Menu Button in this case.
