Remote XUL is going away in bug 546857.  So it's probably a good time as any to port sidebar.cgi to HTML instead of XUL.
... or kill sidebar.cgi. Is it still in use?

Nice sideeffect would be to not get
"Sorry - sidebar.cgi currently only supports Mozilla based web browsers. Upgrade today. :-)"
when you change the UA string.

That can be answered by checking HTTP logs of mozilla.bugzilla.org.

It's not in any popular use anywhere that I know of. I'm in favor of removing it.
