After the fix for bug 579683 app tabs are 1 pixel shorter than normal tabs. This can be seen when closing all tabs except app tabs as the tabbar will shrink by 1 pixel, and also by selecting an app tab there appears to be an extra line between it and the navigation chrome (when tabs are on top)
