Users used to be able to see a list of available updates by clicking a label on the left pane of the AOM, this has now disappeared, even after clicking "Update Addons Now" and it finding some updates.

Have you set some of your addons to update manually in the details view? If not and all addons are updated automatically we don't show this category anymore.

All extensions are set to update manually.

Nevermind, it seems my "automatic updates" were all toggled to on with the new detail view.
