594528 - For 'Show Update History' wrong date is getting stored

i recently updated my Firefox from version  3.6.8  to 3.6.9 

now when i view 'Show Update History' from  Tools >  Options > Advanced > Updates and then click on "Show Update History" section  the correct date is not getting displayed for installation
it displays Date as 01,January 1970 and time as 5:30:00 Am whereas actually its 09,September , 2010 and time is 1:50:00 AM 

This is also valid for the date on which it was installed i.e. for version 3.6.2 (from Show Updates section)it displays value as 01,January ,1970 time as 5:30:00 AM     

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to Tools > Options >  Advanced >  Update > Show Updates History section  

Incorrect date and Time are appearing 

Actual Results:  
It should have displayed the date /time when the update was installed i.e. 01,January ,1970 ..  time as 5:30:00

Expected Results:  
It should have displayed the date /time when the update was installed i.e. 09september 2010 ..  time as 1:50 :00

yep i have exactly the same problem i was looking about when i noticed a download on "01 january 1970 00:00:00" there were 2 downloads. this hasn't caused a problem but why did it say 1970??????? the update previous to that was on the 28th of june 2010 is there a time warp in mozilla firefox server somewhere ????????

Reporter, Firefox 4.0.1 has been released, and it features significant improvements over previous releases. Can you please update to Firefox 4.0.1 or later, and retest your bug? Please also create a fresh profile (
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles), update your plugins (Flash, Java, Quicktime, Reader, etc) and update your graphics driver and Operating system to the latest versions available.

This is working fine now , i validated it for the Firefox Version : 3.6.17

i am on firefox 4 but it still shows up in history i will see if i am aloud to create new profile too (have to get parent to agree) then will retry
