from a post from darin to n.p.m.mail-news...

if the user types in the name of a newsgroup in the text field in the subscribe
dialog, click subscribe, and hits ok *before* the list has finished building,
make it subscribe to that group.

if the list is built, this will already work.

not everyone knows about the news://host/group url trick (to autosubscribe)

newsgroup names as they are typed?  If it is, I'll mark it.
