Actual Results: will not launch Expected Results: Launch claims a copy already running, cannot run two copies at once. But Force Quit does not show any copy running
Is there a Camino running when check with Activity Monitor ? If the answer is no, does it work if you first move your profile folder (~/Library/Application Support/Camino) to the desktop or any other safe place, then launch Camino ? It will start with a default profile - you bookmarks etc are still (safely) stored in the folder you just move aside. If it lauches OK, quit Camino again, and copy your bookmarks.plist to the newly created profile folder. You can also copy back prefs.js (and eventually your usercontent.css if you happen to use one).
Might be worth restarting the computer, too.
Can you please respond to comment 1 (or the similar questions in bug 596118) ?

Darn, I meant to dupe this one to bug 571629 instead of pasting comment 4 :-(. Sorry about the spam.
