The below part of the new about dialog is grey, but it took 2 minutes to understand that on my monitor. This can clearly depend on color balance and ability of monitors to render the full greyscale. But practically it's barely visible and I suspect vast majority of user will se the dialog fully white. I think it should be darkened a bit.
Better yet, maybe we should customise the change the colour to match the mockups (attachment 473598 [details]).
Please post a screenshot. It looks fine for me under Linux, by the way.
Severity: normal → trivial

yeah, the mockups are pretty different, esp on Windows, I didn't notice we were so far from them on the bottom part.
Might as well attach what I see as well.

Yeah, I noticed this too. They're just close enough that when you notice it you start to wonder if they're supposed to be the same and it's a bug. Would be good to make the contrast more pronounced.
Maybe we should just go fancy and use a CSS gradient for the whole thing?
>Maybe we should just go fancy and use a CSS gradient for the whole thing? yes, please. maybe something like this: >background:-moz-linear-gradient(top, #ccd9ea, #f1f5fb 3px);
