User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100923 Firefox/4.0b7pre SeaMonkey/2.1b1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100923 Firefox/4.0b7pre SeaMonkey/2.1b1pre tinypic.com displays some textual data in Flash (think, Adobe) boxes. Currently, only the boxes display, but not the textual data within. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. visit http://tinypic.com/ 2. upload an image. (select a file, click UPLOAD NOW!) (answer the captcha if need be) Actual Results: The file uploads. The page refreshes. A thumbnail of the image displays. Below the wording "Share This Image" are four boxes. They are Flash. Ordinarily textual data would appear in these boxes. Currently these boxes display no data. The missing data cannot be selected (copied). Expected Results: The Flash boxes should contain the expected textual data. Works: 20100909 Broken: 20100910 http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?startdate=2010-09-10&enddate=2010-09-11 Note that on a 20100910 build, when right-clicking in the Flash box the context menu is displaced, appearing at the bottom right of the browser window. (That is no longer an issue on a 20100915 build). Further not all the (html) textual data appears correctly either. Some of that too is displaced or hidden - texts that should be directly above each of the Flash boxes. (These texts may be offset, or may only display when you drag the mouse <to highlight> over the fields.) A current Minefield appears unaffected.
Also note the missing (html) text descriptions on the leftmost shot.
> (That is no longer an issue on a 20100915 build). Oops. Should read ... That is no longer an issue on a 20100923 build. (There were no intervening Windows builds - between the 15th & 23rd.) Also note that they use JavaScript to display the Flash objects. So if JavaScript is disabled (either manually or via NoScript, or the like), then Flash is not used, & the expected text does display.
(In reply to comment #0) > Works: 20100909 > Broken: 20100910 Could you get the revision numbers for these two builds (from about:buildconfig) and insert it into the following link (<rev1> the earlier build, <rev2> the later one) and post it here: http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=<rev1>&tochange=<rev2> The startdate/enddate is not really working for pushloghtml.
http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=3beb281805be&tochange=cca361001fda (Ah, so that's where that kind of stuff comes from. Still kind of meaningless to me, but ...)
This happens in Minefield too, I think. So a core issue. (Didn't I ever check that? Grrr!)
This looks to be resolved. Working in both SeaMonkey & FF. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101029 Firefox/4.0b8pre SeaMonkey/2.1b2pre And FF4 from http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/799a83ba5f86 I'll see if I can get a range at a later time. (Been off the Trunk for about a week, so thinking in that kind of time frame. And if I had to guess, Bug 604420 or Bug 484992 ?)
