This bug is to create a new version of the Firefox What's New page that matches the look & feel of the overall redesign project.
I'd like to discuss the more specific creative direction offline, but the content will likely follow the same general mix of engagement and product information that we have now. However, we'd like to try 2-3 different layouts that we can test before launch to ensure that we're rolling out the most effective version. For now we'll be assuming 3.6 content for this page, but that could change when we know more about the Fx4 release date.
(As an additional thought, once the design of this page takes shape we'll be starting a separate project with WebDev to see how we might add HTML5 to make it more dynamic and exciting. Just an fyi for now.)
I'll have copy for you to work with next week and will post it here. If you need it by a certain date, please let me know.
Here's a rough schedule...the most important date is the final handoff, of course:
CR1 designs: Friday, 10/1
CR1 feedback: Monday, 10/4
CR2 designs: Friday, 10/8
Final approval: Monday, 10/11
Handoff to WebDev: Wednesday, 10/13
Thanks!
