Details

Outlines are currently drawn around the visual overflow, which includes shadows. However, they should probably be drawn around a smaller are that doesn't include visual overflow. Fixing this requires changing GetOutlineInnerRect in nsCSSRendering.cpp and ComputeOutlineAndEffectsRect in nsFrame.cpp, as discussed in bug 542595 comment 56 and bug 542595 comment 62.
Is bug 480888 a duplicate or depending on this?
