Details

The throbber doesn't throb anymore. It worked in nighlies 2010-09-07, but not in nightly 2010-09-08. The changesets in that range are:

There are no obvious changes to video or controls code in there, must be a layers or layout change which is causing it.

Does this throbber use a background image?  If so, bug 595142 is likely exactly it.
I built with the patch from bug 595142, and it does indeed fix this bug.
Throbber now throbs, no doubt due to landing of bug 595142.
