Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100929 Firefox/4.0b7pre =========================================================================== Prerequisites: Create a fresh, clean FF4 profile. Use default theme. URL to test with: http://hg.mozilla.org/qa/litmus-data/raw-file/tip/firefox/plugins/plugin-test.html =========================================================================== Make sure default theme is on. Steps: 1. Visit http://hg.mozilla.org/qa/litmus-data/raw-file/tip/firefox/plugins/plugin-test.html 2. Wait for the test page to load 3. Inspect theme, menu and toolbar UI =========================================================================== Result: Loading of plugin test page causes themes to crash, causing some sort of transparent canvas in background. Furthermore, text does not render correctly and sometimes becomes blurry and shadowed. Note: This was seen in other betas also, but was not always reproducible until now. Cause of this abnormal look might not be this test-page itself, as this can occur in other situation also. The plugin page is the only url I could come up with to have a reproducing algorithm. See screenshot also.

Maniac Vlad, what do you mean by "causes themes to crash?"

theme layout (canvas, colors, graph items), menus (default or custom), icons form a theme. When these are broken I understand that we have a theme crash. Apologize if being ambiguous.

OK. I think this is encapsulated in bug 545892.
