Since layers.accelerate-all has been turned on, some fonts are displayed rather ugly.

I'm attaching a screenshot which shows the problem on http://www.w3.org/TR/xbl/
Left side shows layers.accelerate-all=false, right side shows layers.accelerate-all=true.

The bad rendering is visible on the black and, especially, the blue text. (The two header lines seem to be unaffected by the change.)

It looks like with layers.accelerate-all=true the font is rendered with non-subpixel anti-aliasing, layers.accelerate-all=false used subpixel anti-aliasing.

The default sans-serif font on the profile is Lucida Grande but I also see the problem on a new profile with Helvetica.

This is no duplicate of bug 594325. This is about OS X, not Windows. And the text doesn't look blurry, it looks blocky.
This looks like a dupe of bug 582223.
