I imagine this may change in the future, namely error checking, file renames, snippet creation, etc. etc., but I think we should have this script checked into tools/release/signing/ for safekeeping, rather than as an un-backed-up file on keymaster.

Yes, but using the -i (interactive) mode for mozpass.py.
