User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20101004 Firefox/4.0b7pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20101002 Firefox/4.0b7pre Update is failing ending in (patch apply failed) -- see screenshot. I had to manually download latest version to update. If I close Minefield and reopen, it throws up the Software Update box first but is covered up by the main Window. (But I can click on the box to bring it to front.) Note that Minefield does NOT restart automatically. If I choose Apply Update and reopen Minefield, it throws up the Software Update box first but is covered up by the main Window. (same as above) I don't see this bug with Fx4 but I did see Bug 581991 for 3.6.8 update to 3.6.10 which sounds very familiar to my issue. I'm not sure if this is related, but when I tried to relaunch Minefield by hand the hard drive bangs (I can see the light) but it doesn't do anything. The second time it WILL start-up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unknown how to get it to this stuck status. Looked for update logs and they are all dated 9/16 for Fx3.6.x. I had this issue previously last week and after 2-3 days Minefield told me it was giving up patching Minefield (kept downloading this couple MB update) and was going to download a full update. That took me to 10/2 version.

10/2 and 10/3 nightly builds won't be able to apply updates, but it looks like you've already downloaded 10/4 manually, so you should be good for future updates. Thanks for the bug report.

Ah, there it is. I figured someone should have reported but I couldn't find the right keywords for the bug. =)
