If I use the build published 9/22 Minefield operates as expected. However if I allow the updater to run (updater.exe before Minefield starts)Win 7 brings up an error/crash info box that gives the option of finding a solution online and closing Minefield or simply closing Minefield. This also occurs if I uninstall the 9/22 build and then install either the 10/2 or 10/5 builds: Same crash happens. If I uninstall these and revert to using the 9/22 build again all is well. You are probably hitting Bug 601355.
Crashing in mozjs.dll and not app update so this is not an app update bug. Moving over to Core -> JavaScript Engine
