Build ID: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20101006 Firefox/4.0b7pre =========================================================================== Prerequisites: New Profile =========================================================================== Steps: 1. Load http://hg.mozilla.org/qa/litmus-data/raw-file/tip/firefox/geolocation/position.html into a new tab 2. Notice that geolocation dialog pops. DO NOT SELECT ANY OPTIONS YET. 3. Load same page in a new tab. This time dismiss dialog with "Never Share" 4. Go back to the first tab where the instance of geo-test page is loaded 5. Perform refresh 6. Notice preferences are changed in Page Info->Permissions to "Block" geolocation retrieving ============================================================================ Expected: Due to geolocation blocking, dialog and icon near the site's favicon should NO LONGER appear. It is confusing, and when you click on share location, you get a blank page since location retrieving is currently blocked. Note: See screenshot
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101028 Firefox/4.0b8pre Able to reproduce. The first tab displays the geolocation notification dialog when i click on the favicon area even after dismissing the notification in second tab with "Never Share".
