Mozilla crashes as soon as I hit any site on address bar. Its only working in safe mode. I noticed this from I believe Firefox 4, Beta 6.

Its only working in safe mode. I noticed this from I believe Firefox 4, Beta 6. I have this problem for any site. Not sure if its helpful but I am used the zip to install FF4, not the installer. Thanks for allowing me to create a bug and thanks in anticipation. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Firefox on Vista 64 bit 2. Open FF 4 Beta 8 ( currently ) 3. Access any internet site and hit enter of address bar. 4. I have enabled crash report to Microsoft. Expected Results: Firefox 4 should allow going to site without crashing the browser exe. I dont recall having this problem until FF4. Beta 6 ( not 100% ), b7,b8 crashes each time. It only works in safe-mode.

If you can't reproduce it in safe mode, it means its one of your extensions. Try disable them in the initial screen in safe mode, and enable them one by one until you find the culprit.
the safemode disables not only the addons, also JIT and D2D are disabled. >b7,b8 crashes each time. There is currently no b7 or b8 ! You are using nightly builds

Hi, Sorry for my ignorance. I disabled everything when the Safe mode dialog shows up. It still crashes as soon as restart with all check-enabled upon startup. I noticed these in Mozilla Console. I dont have any extensions or addons other than the ones I downloaded from the nightly build site. Error logs:- Could not read chrome manifest file 'C:\Program Files\Firefox4.0\firefox\extensions\{972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd}\chrome.manifest'. CoCreateInstance() FAILED. Direct3D 9 DeviceManager Initialized Succesfully. Driver: atiumd64.dll Description: ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO Version: 8.14.10.662
