1. go to URL : about:fennec
2. click on button

Expected: updates available (10/18 build)
Actual : No updates available

Note:
1. Suggestion : either to remove the button completely for Maemo or preferably for the update to be checked for.
The code looks to see if "app.update.enabled" is set and shows the button accordingly. We could set the pref to false for Maemo.
That could be an option.  I played around with the app.update.enabled = false on the Maemo and haven't ran into any issues.

My only concern would be for Maemo end users wondering why this button doesn't exist for them but it exists Android users.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible for fennec to trigger the system app updater and then shut fennec down for the update?
