Works for me - Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10 Please provide a stacktrace or crash id. You can get a stacktrace by following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs#Obtain%20a%20backtrace%20from%20an%20apport%20crash%20report%20%28using%20gdb%29 Or get a crash id by installing Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com , extract the tar.gz file and run the firefox file. Try to reproduce the crash and see if the Mozilla crash reporter catches it. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Mozilla+Crash+Reporter

I found this bug through the referenced bugs on the crash report page. I'm not 100% sure its the same, but with my untrained eye, it looks like it. It happens every now and then when I close the browser. Not every time, but often enough that I can try to let it happen again if I necessary to help you get you more info. Just let me know. Some of my crash-id's are: bp-683e80d9-5c5f-4501-b322-20c9f2110106 bp-a9156292-614a-4323-8eac-706152110103 bp-434abf76-3700-4ecb-864b-8d3c12101204

This was the top Linux crash yesterday - 18 crashes. We also see this on Beta12. We should keep an eye on it.

This bug (comment 3) looks like either libX11 or libc calling abort(). Console output may contain a helpful message. Comment 4 is bug 576933.
