Teodosia, could you check and see if this is a duplicate of bug 603679?

I made a mistake in Comment 2 - I think this bug is a dupe of Bug 603679. Please also see Bug 605894 for the issue concerning the plugin not installing.

I've installed the Shockwave plugin 10.1.85.3. It appears in Add-ons Manager and in about:plugins system page, but when I visit a page containing a Shockwave object I get the notification bar saying that "Additional plugins are required...".

We're in the process of removing support for plugins (bug 1677160), so I think this bug is irrelevant now.
