User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: If you use Firefox with a proxy and have multiple tabs as your home page then, upon being started, Firefox will put up a proxy credentials prompt for every single tab. These promtps appear at random places on the screen (two appear in one place, one appears in the centre of Firefox) and are *very* annoying. As I have only one proxy set in Firefox it should only be prompting me with a single Proxy credentials dialog. Additionally when promting for a password the Firefox icon in the Windows taskbar flashes no matter what settings I have made in the O/S (using TweakUI I have it set to "prevent applications from stealing focus" and "Flash taskbar button 1 times"). When prompting for Proxy credentials Firefox should present one, and only one dialogue, and should respect my "no flashing icons" settings. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set up proxy which requires authentication 2. Set up multiple tabs for home page. 3. Start Firefox. Actual Results: Get multiple prompts for authentication - one for each tab. Expected Results: You should only be presented ith one authentication dialogue. Prompted me once and *not* cause its taskar icon to flash (respect my OS settings)
