For highlighted text specifically, there should probably be some more options, 
including:

  - Go to this link, for hightlighted text referring to a web URL, but not 
contained within an anchor tag : an extremely annoying and all too common 
occurance, esp. in emails
  - Search / Whats Related to the highlighted text
  - Spelling / Thesaurus options (admittedly of limited use, but IE has it!And, 
since spelling module is an optional download for Netscape6, it would make 
sense)
 - Add highlighted text to some sidebar note-taking/stickynote facility
