We've redesigned the style of the Army of Awesome to match the new SUMO design. We should roll out this new style with SUMO 2.3 to correspond with site-wide style change.

Note: Design file includes some enhancements (mainly showing reply counts and replies) that are not part of the style change. Those enhancements will be implemented separately.

Will discuss the exact scope and timeline for these changes w/r/t 2.3 and 2.3.1.

This actually looks pretty good already. Maybe this bug can be a tracker for more specific changes post 2.3.

I agree it looks pretty good but it's still missing some key style updates. Mainly the header/into text, new 1-2-3 tweet bubbles with background gradient, updated side navbar menu items, and sidebar block styling.

What would be the right release to include the updated styling? 2.3? 2.3.1?

Unless someone outside SUMODev has time to do this by Friday, I'd say 2.3.1, keeping in mind that there's already a lot of stuff in that release.
