I'm able to reproduce this issue with Mozilla /5.0 (Maemo;Linux armv7l;rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101108 Firefox/4.0b8pre Fennec /4.0b3pre. Now both "<" and ">" buttons are available after step 5.

I can see this problem now on autocomplete suggestions pop-up with this steps: 1.Go to Bugzilla. 2.With the search field, search until you get a scrollable list of Autocomplete suggestions 3. Choose one element from the list. 4. Delete last character I get a suggestion pop-up with the element and arrow to left or right but there are no other suggestions so that arrow is useless (see screenshot). Should I file a new bug?

I think reopening this one could make sense, the bug was against the old form assistant but the steps to reproduce are very similar...
