User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b6) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b6) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b6 Firefox 4 Beta 6 crashes when loading ALL of the following tabs at once. If I open all seven of these tabs one-by-one in the same browser session, Firefox is happy. Also, opening all seven of these tabs at once in 3.6.11 does not crash the browser. The websites are (loading using "Open All in Tabs"): 1) http://insidetech.monster.com/careers/articles/5658-5-signs-your-resum-is-pass 2) http://www.americasjobexchange.com 3) http://www.careerbuilder.com 4) http://www.jobserve.us 5) http://www.monster.com 6) http://www.techcareers.com 7) http://www.workjersey.com Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Put all seven of the above websites in a Bookmark folder (such as "Job Sites"). 2. Try loading all seven tabs at once in this folder - Firefox 4 Beta 6 will crash. Opening these tabs all at once in 3.6.11 works just fine (plugin versions are the same and everything). 3. In the next browsing session after the crash, load the seven sites one-by-one in the same browser window. Firefox is happy and does NOT crash. Actual Results: Firefox 4 Beta 6 crashes when loading all seven tabs at once. If I load them individually, I can see all seven tabs without the browser crashing. Expected Results: Firefox 4 Beta 6 should be able to load the SAME seven tabs all at once without crashing if it can also load these tabs individually without crashing.

Okay - I just loaded all seven of these tabs in the latest Minefield build FIVE times, closing the browser each time, and it is fine. Sorry for posting duplicate bugs, but I was testing the latest official version (4.0 Beta 6). For future reference, what version of Firefox do you want me to report bugs on? Official Beta or Minefield? I am going to keep using the Minefield builds, as that is the only way for me to tell the bugs I am seeing are resolved before official Firefox 4 release date.
It's ok to report with the latest beta but b6 is already "old" and it's time for b7. A report from a nightly build is of course always preferred. Your crash is "lucky" because you can find bug 586004 as "related bug" in your crash report (scroll down in your crash link). And no problem for the dupe, my own bugs are often dupes :-)
Yeah - I saw that in the crash report. But, how was I supposed to know anyway? I'll keep using Minefield 32-Bit Windows and report any bugs I find - first seeing if it is not a duplicate.
You couldn't know that but it's for the future but you can always file a bug if you are not sure and include the crash ID in your report. You filed a good report with good Steps to reproduce, thanks for that !
