Details

Would be great, if Attachments could be saved automatically in their format.
Would be a fine feature for mailing-lists like "funnypics@egroups.com" (or so).

bye
That would be a rather unsafe feature, like if someone sent a .exe file meant to
overwrite a system file, etc, etc (leaves us open to problems like the ones seen
in outlook)

Maybe as an optional feature that is not turned on by default
Saved where? Would there be something like a "default save" directory?

Reporter, if you are really interested in this feature would you like to write
up a slightly more complete specification of what it is you would want?
Discussing it in the newsgroups may also be a good idea so that you can get some
feedback on security issues and other people's behavior preferences.
Marking Severity to Trivial, this could really be a cool feature, if we had time
to implement it. Marking Target to Future. Adding RFE to status whiteboard.
