I presume this is a regular problem, though I mostly avoid waking up before nightlies are done building. This morning, the Windows nightly was delayed, but tbpl didn't show it as running at all, because builds-running.js didn't list it, and we thought that builds-running.js wasn't going to lie to us so we started completely ignoring what tinderbox says about running builds.
According to catlee, nightlies don’t know which rev they are building until they are finished.
Should be fixed by bug 570814.
