There were some problems a few weeks ago, which forced everyone to load a full build that day, but updates started working again the day after. Maybe you have to uninstall the old version before you install the new one ? That will surely erase all problems that you have. If that doesn't work, there might be a problem in the profile (hmmm ... maybe something in the preferences), and you should try a new profile. Note that this is really a support question, and it doesn't belong in bugzilla. Unless you discover why there was a problem of course (reopen it if you want).

Hi, please note that this is win64 build. There was a problem in the build itself until recently from here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ showed a week+ old builds - now its OK. also this happened on 3 computers at the same time. on 2 out of 3 of those, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the build several times because of bug 601355, and also created the profiles again. I also installed the build from the 30th on a clean windows 7 64 bit machine and now there is a build from the 31th - still no update.

how can I reopen this bug?
You already did in comment 2 on the 31st.. The state is UNCONFIRMED again. But it's a dupe of bug 608605 anyway ... Win64 builds will have to wait for the moment.
