Poke. Can we get this done? What are we asking for in Comment #2? Do we only need Asa to r+ this?
we need a short bio so we can introduce Steve to the Planet audience. See http://blog.mozilla.com/planet/ for some examples. And yes, one of the Mozilla peers needs to r= this before it gets landed. Sorry I didn't get to it until today (I was out last week). As soon as we've got a bio, r=asa
sorry, meant to say "one of the Mozilla Planet peers"
Ok. I meant the one line in comment 0 as the bio, but I can write another more bio-like bio: ---- Steve Fink works for Mozilla on performance and tools. Before Mozilla, he did performance tuning on a games-over-cable TV channel that had sparkly diamonds, thousands of independent MPEG streams coming out of each Linux server, and lots of bright happy colors. Before that, he was a core engineer at Reactrix Systems, making Linux-based 2d- and 3d-camera driven interactive video projection systems to make small children cry when their parents dragged them away to go home. Along the way, he's dabbled in the Parrot project, data warehousing, plagiarism detection, rock climbing, and numerous open source projects. ---- Too resume-y, I guess, but good enough.
Ping? I have the bio, so I have r=asa. Can someone pull the trigger? Thanks, Steve
