In the last Mozilla QA meeting we have discussed the addition of the "Mozilla QA" product and possible components to Bugzilla. This step will give us more flexibility in handling our projects. We came to the following conclusion:

Product
=======
Location:    Others - "Mozilla QA"
Description: For bugs and requests related to management of Mozilla QA related projects

Components
==========
* Automation Team Dashboard (Bugs or feature requests for the QA Automation team dashboard)

* Mozmill Automation (Bugs or feature requests for the scripts to automate Mozmill test-runs)

* Mozmill Crowd Extension (Bugs or feature requests for the Mozmill crowd extension.)

* Mozmill Result Dashboard (Bugs or feature requests for the results dashboard of Mozmill tests)

To be moved
===========

We also have to move the "Mozmill Tests" component from Testing to "Mozilla QA". But not sure if we can do that via Bugzilla's admin interface or if I have to move all the bugs to the new component on my own. Would be good to know that in-front and if I should warn people.
Reed: Is there a link that describes how to setup a Product (default parameters)?

Reed: If you could please answer Comment 1 at some point it would be good to have for future reference in case you are not around to handle a request.

No, has to be done manually. I've created a new component under "Mozilla QA" with the same name. Just move the bugs when you get a chance, and then I'll delete the old component.

There's not. I've done this myself for now, and I'll try to write some documentation, but it might be a bit...

Oh, one question... What security group should be the default for bugs filed under this product?

Which options do we have? I thought that I have talked with Marcia about it but lost my notes.

core-security -- Firefox/Gecko/Thunderbird security bugs
client-services-security -- AMO/AUS/Sync security bugs
webtools-security -- webtool security bugs (Litmus, etc.)
websites-security -- website security bugs (www.mozilla.com, www.mozilla.org, etc.)

There's a few more security groups (Bugzilla and Tamarin), but they wouldn't have to do anything with this product.
Since most of the stuff will be client side, I would say lets use core-security. But I would like to have a reply from Marcia on it.
Oh, and could we create target milestones in 0.1 steps up to 4? That would be great.
Marcia or Reed, can one of you please delete the "Testing > Mozmill Tests"
component? Everything has been moved. Thanks.

Henrik: Do want milestones from 0.1 -> 4.0 or just to 0.4 for now? I added to 0.4.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/editcomponents.cgi?action=edit&product=Testing&component=Mozmill still shows 366 bugs in that component.

core-security if fine by me.

Please add milestones until 1.0.

Strange, because Reed has already deleted this component.
All done. Please open a new bug for any other changes.
