Reproducible: Always and please make smooth scroll smoother
horizontal scrolling works fine with my synaptics touchpad. This is a 100% touchpad driver bug. Do you use a alps based touchpad (bug 202615) ?
yep, I use Alps Dell Touchpad version 7.4.102.104 on my dell laptop
thanks, i will mark this as dupe of bug 202615. The issue itself will or better can't be fixed on our side and ALPS already released a driver that fixed the problem but Dell doesn't provide the update..
