The above bug is encountered on ALL websites with drop-down menus (NON-JAVASCRIPT BASED) Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv7l; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20101231 Firefox/4.0b9pre Fennec/4.0b4pre 1. goto http://regweb.kfupm.edu.sa/Student/course_open1.asp 2. choose a course from any of the menus although the option comes as highlighted on the firefox list, it isn't actually selected Similar on http://www.fanfiction.net
This issue is still reproducing on: Build id : Mozilla/5.0 (Maemo;Linux armv7l;rv:2.0b13pre)Gecko/20110314 Firefox/4.0b13pre Fennec /4.0b6pre Device: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 OS: Android 2.1 update 1 Go to http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Test/HTML401/current/tests/sec17_6_1-BF-01.html The drop down shows up the list only when is tapped for the first time and after that it won't work at all.
This issue still occurs on the latest Nightly build. -- Build id : Mozilla/5.0 (Android;Linux armv7l;rv:8.0a1)Gecko/20110803 Firefox/8.0a1 Fennec/8.0a1 Device: HTC Desire Z OS: Android 2.3.3

The url in comment 0, http://www.bestbuymobile.com/ , is fixed in trunk. This was the "opacity:0 on select" bug, bug 649000. The urls mentioned in comment 1 are worksforme in current trunk build. Although on http://www.fanfiction.net/ , I'm not sure what to look for. I used http://www.fanfiction.net/search.php for testing. This sounds like a different issue than the one this bug report mentions, fwiw. Please file a new bug for it, if you can still reproduce, Umair. I can reproduce the issue mentioned in comment 2. The bug seems to be happening because the select is inside an iframe. The iframe url is this: http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Test/HTML401/current/tests/17_6_1-BF-01.html But the bug mentioned in comment 2 is also different than the original bug filed here. So I'm going to mark this bug as a duplicate of bug 649000, since it was fixed by that bug.
