Needs a clobber, due to js/src/configure.in changes. I'm not sure why it needs one, I'll figure it out and get back to you.
I forget to mention, it is a clobbered build. If that means to only delete the obj dir.
Oh, I thought this was happening on tinderbox. What's happening is that libffi is building some symbols for i386 and some for x86_64, I think on the i386 portion of the cross-compile. Are you absolutely certain that this is a completely clean build? If so, can I get the full build log?
I delete the obj dir (_obj-browser-test in my case, see bellow) My .mozconfig: ac_add_options --enable-application=browser mk_add_options MOZ_OBJDIR=@TOPSRCDIR@/_obj-browser-test ac_add_options --disable-debug ac_add_options --enable-tests ac_add_options --enable-optimize ac_add_options --enable-logrefcnt # bug 491774. crashreporter won't build in cross compile ac_add_options --disable-crashreporter ac_add_options --disable-install-strip ac_add_options --disable-webm # my own modifications !!!! ac_add_options --enable-debugger-info-modules mk_add_options MOZ_MAKE_FLAGS=-j3 CC="gcc-4.2 -arch i386" CXX="g++-4.2 -arch i386" ac_add_options --target=i386-apple-darwin8.0.0 ac_add_options --with-macos-sdk=/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.5.sdk ac_add_options --enable-macos-target=10.5 HOST_CC="gcc-4.2" HOST_CXX="g++-4.2" RANLIB=ranlib AR=ar AS=$CC LD=ld STRIP="strip -x -S" CROSS_COMPILE=1 I'll give you the build log (redirect) soon.
Attached patch patch — — Splinter Review
Ok, this fixes it for me. I haven't tested whether this re-breaks all the other errors, but I will do it as soon as I can get this landed.

(In reply to comment #8) > Need someone to land this, I don't have level 3 access (and won't get it at > this rate) And shouldn't need it. We're trying to have at most L2. Something forgotten from last year, I'll follow up. /be
