User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b7) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b7) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b7 I think it would extremely useful provide the URL in the tooltip for tabs. You could put the title on the first line of the tooltip and the address on the second line. The main motivation behind this is to easily distinguish between tabs when several have the same title without clicking on each one or using tab preview or the like (all too many sites have the same title for many pages). In some cases I see the URL providing vital information to enable a user to identify tabs, as a URL can sometimes be quite descriptive. Bug 379003 looks into making tabs more detailed, but nothing seems to be going to be implemented very soon. I guess just adding the URL to the tooltip should be technically easy, and the advantages for users seems clear to me. I filed this as Bug 363599, I'm sorry if this is bad to file another bug, but the issue still stands in Firefox 4 beta. Reproducible: Always
